Shelby Gaddis
Operations Coordinator

As Operations Coordinator for Motion Therapy Partners, Shelby supports leadership and staff members in areas of healthcare quality, efficiency, and growth. Shelby has eight years of customer service experience in the hospitality and healthcare fields where she served as a manager and leader. 

Previously, she worked as a District Patient Support Lead at Results Physiotherapy where she successfully managed administrative and clinical personnel at numerous clinics.

Additionally, she worked as an Exercise Specialist at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee where she assisted in a corporate-based wellness program, created personal exercise prescriptions, and instructed fitness classes.

Shelby graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. She enjoys spending time outdoors and exploring new places with her border collie Koda.

Katie Haworth
Human Resources and Payroll Manager

Katie serves as Motion Therapy Partner’s Human Resource Manager. In this role, she uses her payroll expertise to maintain accurate and timely processing of payroll updates and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws. 

Previously, she worked as a clinic director in the health industry for eight years and gained valuable human resource management experience and healthcare knowledge. 

Katie received her bachelor’s degree in psychology and business management from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. In her free time, she enjoys yoga and traveling to new places.

Spencer Chinery
CFO

Spencer Chinery serves as CFO of Motion Therapy Partners. He attended The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he received an undergraduate business degree with concentrations in finance and economics. Later, he earned his MBA in 1998 while working as a financial analyst for CBL & Associates, a real estate investment trust listed on the NYSE.

Spencer has worked in the field of finance and systems for over 20 years. Most recently, Spencer served as the CFO for The Hutton Company in Chattanooga, Tennessee a real estate development, construction, and property management company with projects across the US. 

Prior to Hutton, Spencer worked as CFO and in other financial capacities in retail, food service, accounting and technology companies including five years as the CFO for Greenlife Grocery a Chattanooga based natural and organic food retailer acquired by Whole Foods Market in 2010.

Kate Tinker
Director of Revenue Cycle

Kate Tinker serves as the Director of Revenue Cycle, bringing more than 20 years of experience in healthcare to the team.

Most recently, she worked as a Certified Professional Coder for Galen Medical Group where she reviewed clinical data from medical records to assign codes, maintained updated knowledge of coding requirements, and provided coding answers to callers and internal departments. 

Kate consistently met and exceeded accounts receivable benchmarks for primary care and several multi-specialty clinics owned by a large health system, resulting in the clinic’s top ranking in the region for accounts receivable. Throughout her career, she has a proven track record of increasing a company’s financial performance and achieving company objectives. 

Kate obtained her Certified Professional Coder credential, the most recognized medical coding certification in the healthcare industry, through the American Academy of Professional Coders. 

Hannah Palmgren
Marketing and Business Development Coordinator

Hannah serves as Motion Therapy Partner’s Marketing and Business Development Coordinator. In this role, she develops and implements comprehensive marketing and business development strategies that foster revenue growth. She has valuable experience cultivating business relationships and driving customer engagement and sales. 

A few of Hannah’s previous roles include Customer Support Specialist at Symplr, Field Sales and Marketing Representative at Techtronic Industries, and Community Relations Coordinator at Scenic City Orthodontics. In these roles, she demonstrated her skills in leadership and marketing by successfully training other sales and marketing representatives and consistently achieving and exceeding objectives and sales goals. 

Hannah graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee and went on to earn a Master of Science in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University. In her free time, Hannah enjoys traveling and has been to all seven continents.
